The Clinical Medical Assistant program is delivered in person at the Mt. San Jacinto College – Menifee Valley Campus. Students receive practical, instructor-led training designed to prepare them for a rewarding career in today’s busy medical offices.

The program includes a 160-hour externship, where students are placed in local private practices, clinics, or urgent care facilities to gain real-world clinical experience.

What You’ll Learn

  • Obtain and record patient vital signs
  • Assist with minor medical procedures
  • Perform basic laboratory tests
  • Administer injections and medications
  • Perform venipuncture (phlebotomy)
  • Support patient flow and clinical operations

This program prepares students for entry-level Clinical Medical Assistant employment in medical offices, clinics, and urgent care settings.

Externship & Program Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older for externship placement
  • Access to internet, a PC, laptop, or tablet, and a printer required
  • High school diploma or equivalent for certification exam

Refund Policy: 

Refunds must be requested at least five business days prior to the program’s start date by emailing jflint@careertrainingsolutionsllc.com. A $25 processing fee is charged for each program refunded. No transfers. No makeup sessions for missed classes or late arrivals. Registrations are non-transferable. Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment within 2-4 weeks after the request is received and processed. If we cancel a class, we will notify you, and a full refund will be issued by the original form of payment.
